← GuideDetected numbers

These examples describe detection with France as the reference country (the default setting). A number in international format (starting with + or 00) is recognised whatever the country set. This page lists the tested reference cases — it does not enumerate every possible format.

Detected numbers (reference country: France)

Numbers recognised and turned into a call badge.

French numbers

International format (+ or 00)

Overseas France

Intentionally ignored (with France as the reference country)

⚠️ These exclusions apply when the reference country is France (or an overseas department). With a reference country that has no national trunk “0” (Spain, Italy, United States…), detection stays more permissive and some of these sequences can become candidates again — see “Depending on the reference country”.

Ignored sequences

Depending on the reference country

A number in international format (+ prefix) is always recognised. A foreign national number (United States, Spain…) is recognised only if the extension’s reference country matches. Set it in the settings, or use the fallback: select the number then Alt+P.

National numbers — ES

National numbers — US

Known limitation

A ten-digit reference starting with 0 (order number, customer ID…) can be indistinguishable from a French landline: it may therefore receive a badge by mistake. This is a known limitation.
